Open Records Requests

TABC promotes transparency and efficiency when providing public information. The Texas Public Information Act gives you the right to request open records. We process all open records requests through the Open Records Center, which you can use to submit your request.

Public Inquiry

The TABC Public Inquiry System lets you search for information about licenses, permits, and complaints.

TABC Certifications

Visit our Public Inquiry System and click “Certificate Inquiry” to get information about your seller/server training certification.

Other Ways to Submit Your Request

The easiest way to file your request is through our Open Records Center.

You may also submit a request in the following ways:

  • By mail to TABC Open Records, P.O. Box 13127, Austin, TX 78711.
  • By email to open.records@tabc.texas.gov.
  • In person at 5806 Mesa Drive, Austin, TX 78731.

We do not accept open records requests submitted by any method other than those listed on this page.
