Reminder: LPs must switch to new tax ID stamp portal
TABC wants to ensure that holders of a Local Distributor Permit (LP) are using the new online ordering portal for tax ID stamps, which launched in February 2023.
- The new tax ID stamps system is provided by OpSec Security.
- Please delete the previous tax ID stamps system link from your records and do not log in to the old system.
- Any stamps ordered from the old system are still valid.

Next steps
- If your business is already ordering tax ID stamps through OpSec Security, you do not need to take any action.
- If your business needs to request access to the online ordering system provided by OpSec Security, please email idstamps@tabc.texas.gov with the following information:
- Package Store Permit (P) number
- Trade name (DBA)
- Location address
- Shipping address (if different from above)
- Point of contact (first and last name)
- Phone number
- Email address
- You will receive a confirmation email in three to five business days with steps for completing the activation process. You can make one account per business entity only.
