Stakeholder meeting on TABC Winery Permit Study set for July 18
Join Executive Director Thomas W. Graham to discuss the agency’s draft Winery Permit Study at a TABC stakeholder meeting on Thursday, July 18, 2024, 10-11 a.m. CT.
You may attend in person at TABC's Austin HQ in the Commission Meeting Room or attend virtually using Zoom.
Background
Last year, the 88th Texas Legislature directed TABC to:
- conduct a study of the privileges granted to winery permits and other issues relating to the wine industry, and
- submit a report containing the findings of the study to the Legislature no later than Aug. 31, 2024.
After conducting a thorough study of these issues, TABC has developed a draft report and is giving stakeholders a chance to review the report, ask questions, and provide input before the agency finalizes and submits it to the Legislature.
