Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Offers Assistance to Businesses Affected by Severe Storms Following Governor's October 21 Disaster Declaration

As residents work to recover from Sunday's severe storms and tornadoes, the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission is offering resources for TABC-licensed businesses located within the 16-county disaster zone declared by Governor Greg Abbott on October 21. The disaster zone includes Cass, Cameron, Collin, Dallas, Ellis, Erath, Hunt, Kaufman, Lamar, Panola, Rains, Rockwall, Rusk, Tarrant, Van Zandt and Wood counties.

Businesses in the disaster zone can request copies of official documents lost due to severe weather, as well as assistance reporting damaged inventory, ordering replacement signage or tax stamps, along with waivers for certain reporting or application fee deadlines.

Business owners may visit www.tabc.texas.gov/disaster to view a complete listing of available assistance. Affected businesses in the DFW region may also contact TABC's Arlington Regional Office for assistance by calling (817) 607-5912. Affected businesses in Cameron County may contact TABC's San Antonio Regional Office at (210) 731-1720.
