TABC Delinquent List

TABC lists retailers who have not paid for distilled spirits, wine or malt liquor they purchased on credit by the state’s payment deadlines. No sales or deliveries can be made to retailers on the delinquent list on or after the list’s effective date.

The list is published and effective at 12:01 a.m. on the fifth business day after the due date of the 10th or 25th of each month. If the publication date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or a state or federal holiday, we’ll publish it the next regular business day.

Join our mailing list to get an email the same day we publish the list. Have a question? Contact us.

Payment Deadlines

Wholesalers must receive all payments from retailers before 12:01 a.m. on the fifth business day after the 10th or 25th of each month to avoid getting on the delinquent list.

Any order received for delivery, will call, salesperson pickup or hot shot before the list’s publish date can be delivered by the wholesaler or local distributor on the day of publication. These orders must be invoiced and billed before the publish time of 12:01 a.m. and must be delivered by 1 p.m. on the publish date.

Bankruptcy

When a retailer officially files for bankruptcy, they are protected by the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. This means even though they are on the delinquent list, they can still purchase alcohol. But nobody is required to sell alcohol to the retailer.

If you’re a retailer, you must inform TABC Audit and Investigations immediately after you file for bankruptcy and when you are no longer under bankruptcy protection. Call the department at 512-206-3300.
