Jose Pineda
Director of Licensing
Jose Pineda began his TABC career in 2006 and has spent all 18 years of it with the Licensing team. He knows the team well thanks to his work across several positions, including accounts examiner, license and permit specialist, management analyst, supervisor, and deputy director.
Jose has worked on significant projects during his tenure, including TABC LEADS and the Best of the Best. He has also successfully completed the Governor's Management Development and Executive Development programs at the University of Texas at Austin’s LBJ School of Public Affairs. He received a TABC Recognition of Excellence award for these contributions.
Jose lives in Georgetown with his wife Jessica, daughters Jocelyn and Jiliana, son Jameson, and their family dog Sarah. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing, woodworking, traveling, volunteering as a youth soccer coach, gardening, and hiking with his family.
