Antonio Mireles

Antonio “Tony” Mireles joined TABC as the agency’s director of Government Relations within the Public and  Government Affairs Division in May 2024. In this role, he is primarily responsible for managing TABC’s relationships and communications with government officials and their staff, including the Texas Legislature, the governor, and other government agencies. He is also charged with coordinating TABC’s participation in Texas legislative sessions.

Originally from Fort Worth, Mireles graduated from the University of Missouri in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Before coming to TABC, he was a chief of staff in the Texas House of Representatives for five years. Mireles started working in the Texas Legislature in 2017, first as a legislative aide, then as legislative director, before becoming chief of staff in 2019. 

Mireles is also a graduate student at Texas State University, pursuing a master’s degree in public administration.
