Subject: Kudos for LOTS of TABC employees

Once AGAIN the TABC has proven itself to be one of the most responsive and reasonable agencies we deal with in assisting our clients obtain alcohol permits. We had a difficult transition of permits for locations inside several Texas airports, where maintaining uninterrupted service was crucial.

Our client was presented with difficult timelines imposed by others and a lack of cooperation by many parties. But the TABC was willing to work with us to make it work for all concerned. We would like to give compliments and kudos to the following TABC employees who went above and beyond to help:

Sarah Fricke, Austin Licensing Lead
Shaun Jordan, Austin Licensing Supervisor
Todd Talley, Austin Compliance Officer
Shawn Smith, Arlington Licensing Lead
Marti Alanis, Arlington License Processor
Yvette Price, San Antonio Licensing Supervisor
Vangie Aguilera, San Antonio Licensing Lead

And special thanks to Amy Harrison who helped map out the strategy to make it all happen across the Regions and to Gene Bowman, who exercised discretion with great sensitivity.

Our firm works in many states and with many agencies, and what I can say is that the TABC excels in serving its permittees and applicants within the requirements of the laws it enforces. Hats off to the people at the TABC who make it work for everyone!!

Yours truly,
Alex Heckathorn

To Whom It May Concern:
I wanted to relay how very much we have appreciated having MARTI ALANIS in the Arlington, Texas office work our last two for Plano, Texas and the last one for Northlake, Texas.

Wow! So very friendly, accommodating, professional and courteous! I would personally be very grateful if he would be the one to work all of our new permits. You have a real gem with his work ethic.

In both cases, Marti communicated with me via email when he began the permitting process. I responded to him with our targeted opening date and he outdid himself making sure we got our permit in plenty of time to open our new stores.

You hit a goldmine when you hired Marti! Way to go!

Dear Ms. Ramirez,
I just wanted to take a moment to say "Thank-you" and let you know what a pleasure it was to work with you. Your patience and your reassuring smile made the sale of my business to the new owner seamless and STRESS free! I wish every TABC office was as welcoming as your office in San Marcos. You and the staff that work with you are all so happy and that shows through to your clients.

I will never be able to find the words to say Thank you for all that you do; I know that you always go above and beyond for your clients. It is so refreshing to have someone as nice and understanding as you to be a resource in this business.

Wanted to brag on Marla Myers in your office. Tremendous professional. Very friendly. Very quick responses on questions as we were working through a change on our licenses. I Have dealt a fair amount with agencies. Not very often I get to use "great customer service" in the same sentence with commission or agency or bureau etc… She is doing a great job.

Subject: Jeff Richards

Hi, Julie. I wanted to let you know that I contacted Jeff Richards for assistance with setting up an online account for the various liquor licenses held by Aramark's entities. Jeff was extremely helpful, professional and patient with me as I worked my way through the system.

I work with most of the licensing authorities in the US and Canada, and Jeff's fine work is an example other states should copy! Please extend my gratitude to him for his efforts. I appreciate it.
